My wife likes to get wings, and I usually put my foot down. When you start adding on wings, bread, and all that extra stuff, the price just sky rockets for a quick, cheap dinner.

Bar tab I'll tip fairly nice, dinner tab you better have been a great server, otherwise it's 2 bucks regardless. If my glass stays empty more than a minute, the tip decreases, etc...

I like to get what I pay for, and I'm paying to enjoy my meal, and if I don't then I don't tip very well.

That's why the wife leaves the tip most of the time, she thinks I'm a hard ass when it comes to service.

I would deliver pizzas in a HEARTBEAT at night after work if I could. It's not fantastic cash, but it's decent and when compiled with what I make during my day job, it would be very useful.

I made awesome money when I was a teenager delivering pizzas. Gas was cheap, no one had "delivery charges" yet, and I actually had a car that got decent gas milage. Probably the most fun job I could have had at that age. Getting paid to drive around all night listening to music, and free food whenever we wanted it. Good times.

I was a waitress for Pizza Hut / Delivery Driver back in '94. When I was waiting tables I made $2.25/hour plus tips. When I was driving, I made $16/hour plus tips. Tips were never lower than $3-4, but usually ranged up close to $10 if there was more than one pizza ordered. Being a delivery driver is what made me enough to fund my needs. The waitressing wasted my time because of the shitty hourly wage. Tips were good, but only brought me up to barely over minimum wage.
