Statistically speaking, I am smart in my respective fields, and good at what I do. When it comes to art, English, and history, I am ignorant as you can probably tell.

I do however think that with a better understanding of what the op is tryin to say, his mind will change. I can tell by the mention of flight, which is a relatively new development. I am also posing that creativity is not just a function of art or music or what have you

How about you reread the first post and comment on what was included. My post was based on subjective creations, movies, music, etc, not technology. If you want, we can turn this into a pissing contest, or discuss the topic of what I intentionally posted.

I completely understand what you're trying to say, it's the way it's coming across that makes you sound like an asshole. From the posts I've read since I first started interacting with you on this site I could tell you're educated, but at the same time you're either misunderstood (ala Steve) or an asshole (ala the majority of this board, present company included)

You may be right about loss of creativity as Mark Twain says so eloquently. Still, we have successfully "tele-ported" atoms. Yeah, like in Star Trek. So we're just putting the technological spin on our creativeness from last century.

The 20th century was the greatest man kind has ever seen, so it will be hard to top. We will hold on to it for another generation, but then the new minds will really start to cut a new path.
