Another vote for the Ranch...good happy-hour spot and pretty good food too. Also, it's totally off of the beaten path, but right over off of Royal (just a little West of MacArthur) there is a newer hotel called the NYLO....has a pretty cool bar area that extends out to the pool...we stumbled on it not too long ago while some out-of-town colleagues were staying there....had a great atmosphere, and surprisingly good crowd for a Thurs evening.70' Chevelle RagTop
