I agree, stupid.
Now I wasn't going WOT at all or going balls out in corners but by "spirited" driving I was going 10-15 over the limit and going around bends at 10 over. Wouldn't say that was pushing the car but doing the postged limites would have been safer.
I didnt flip the car to make money. I dumped it at a loss because I had spent every last cent to get it running and it still needed more. I lost out $350+ I didnt have to lose.

The work on the car was done for a couple hours at a time untill I literally couldnt stand any more. Waited for the hernia to not poke out any more and went back to work on the car more as I could.
As for flipping cars.... what? I sold my Mark to pay bills and buy a cheap car. I bought the car and it blew up. I fixed the car (with some help from some great people on here) and it continued to fail so I sold it.
As for the plumber I make no excuses. I asked for a plumber that could do the work on credit till the car sold. I knew the leak was under the house but lacked the skills or body size to get under the house and locate the leak. Because of my situation some really cool people here went above and beyond to help me out. forbes was cool as hell and came out and we tackled the job.
When I can pay it forward you can bet your ass I will. I have told many on here if they need mechanical help I would do it for them. There are many people on here that bought great parts at a fraction of the cost I could normally sell the parts cause I am all about helping fellow car friends.

That being said I have been also looking for mid 90's Accords and Civics and Camrys but all I have seen have been quite the turd. Hondas under $2000 suck. SHO is seen as just a Tarus by many and sometimes a nice one can be had for under $2000. I mentioned the TL because it had a brand new motor. I mentioned the TSi cause I know the cars, they get great mileage and the ONLY one I was interested in was $1900 and uber clean. Unfortunatly it sold instantly cause it was 1/3 of what they normally go for. Again, good car to flip.
I was wanting to try to flip a couple cars to make money. Like a job. If I cant find a job then I need to do something legal to make cash and flipping a couple cars is a good way to make cash. Now I just need to get a car thats not as crappy as that GS was. It was never my intention to flip the GS but due to the breakdowns and money it had to go. After selling it at a loss I realized (cause I can think) that finding a car that I can flip would be the thing to do right now till I can sell the house, get surgery and start my shop. Hell, maybe I will become a car dealer.
