I've only been late twice in 20 years. The first time I was rescuing a baby from a burning building. The other time I was hit by a truck and shot in the back.... but what made me late was the flat tire."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

My colleagues all stroll in a minimum of 10 minutes late.
When I get my own Branch, it will be a shit-cannable offense after two, or the minimum # of times our HR allows it to be a shit-cannable offense.

I got the elderly man out and went in for his wife who was looking for things to grab. I told her it was time for her to get out and pushed her out the front of the house as FD arrived. I suffered a bit of smoke inhalation, but didn't require medical attention.
I just got my commendation this week.
