I hate being late and it really pisses me that when I make plans to do something with friends they are never ready on time. My wife was always causing my boys to be late to their soccer games so I just started telling her the games were 30 minutes earlier to make sure they were on time

Am I the only one that takes being on time seriously?

That's one thing I like about my job is no one watching the clock when I come and go, of course I work from home. No issues with cars or traffic takes a lot of stress off.
I often have to pad time in when dealing with my wife or her family. Some cultures are just that way though. My pinoy friends call it "filipino time" in that their culture people just show up whenever and no one stresses about it. Some of their friends show up 1 - 2 hrs late for things. I find it very disrespectful to treat others like that.

My colleagues all stroll in a minimum of 10 minutes late.
When I get my own Branch, it will be a shit-cannable offense after two, or the minimum # of times our HR allows it to be a shit-cannable offense.
