Pulling a trailer is a different story. Gas mileage goes down to single digits and risk goes up when you start going over the speed limit

Damn, what are you pulling it with ? My dad's '02 Duramax pulls our race car/trailer with all of our track shit at highway speeds like it isn't even back there and has gotten close to 20mpg.

Before he bought the Duramax, we had borrowed a truck from a buddy to go to Joplin, MO. It was a '94-5 ext cab dually Chevy with a 454. It got about 9mpg up there and back ! Ouch !!

That's difference between a half ton and a 3/4-1 ton truck.

Hell, just have him fly into DFW/Love field and go pick him up, flights are what, $200 one way? He'd spend that much on fuel one direction.

If the A/C isn't working you'd be a fool to drive from DFW to Chicago right now, other than that this sounds like a best case idea.

If it's on a weekend, I could help you out, but the fuel bill will be outrageous. I have a 96 1/2t chevy and a 16' flatbed I could offer up.

Thanks guys, you're a good group of heartless bastards, but I love you all. lol.

I think I just may tell this guy he's going to have to come here, or no deal. I've already discounted this shit out of this car and taking a big loss on it just to get it out of the garage so I can move on to the next toy.

You know I'd rent the truck and trailer out of my pocket if I was in the States.

I've got a ton of interest in the car, just waiting on someone to follow through. The car is too old to finance, so it's going to take the right buyer.

The gauges just need to be wired in, the AC is all there, just needs to be wired up and charged. Not a big deal. What I am asking for it, you can't even get the parts for, let alone a running, tuned car making over 500rw. The motor is good for 1000hp and the car has a fuel system that makes the car ready for a KenneBell/Whipple and the car will easily make 650rw on pump gas reliably. It's a good Friday night special car for someone looking to go fast for cheap.
