Today at school I noticed the addition of Hand Sanitizer bottles in the restroom.
I am against this. I have done absolutely no research, and I am just going off my opinion. Does hand sanitizer work as well as soap? I would say no.
Don't doctors have some "5-minute scrub" before surgery? Do they use soap, or hand sanitizer?
If I'm wiping my ass, and my finger punctures the single ply toilet paper at school provided by the tax-payer, and my finger goes knuckle deep into my aids infected rectum, sure, I may enjoy it, but I still want to clean up properly, with soap and warm water.
Hell, my main concern isn't me cleaning up, to be honest. It's more about the other people. And with today's "I WANT IT NOW" society, I think more people would see the hand sanitizer as the easy, and quick way out, even after a mishap during post-defecation clean up.
I've thought that hand sanitizer was lacking compared to regular hand soaps cleaning ability for some time, but today I was tempted to play god, and eliminate the possibility for anyone to even use the hand sanitizer. But, then, I was more concerned with the idea that a "non-washer" would stroll by after shaking urine all over his hands, and take a squirt or two of the han san on the way out, so I opted to leave it.
This trend is catching on, and I do not like it.
FOR: Randomly placed Hand Sanitizer stations for the "pump-and-go"
AGAINST: The option of hand soap, or hand sanitizer in restrooms.
