Listen fuck face, it's not my fault chris whoever sold out to some folks out of country. I think I saw 1 or 2 posts about the previous owner this and that and a bunch of everyone crackin on the canadians. If I had it my way we'd close the borders, kick out all the free loadin, job takin, non insurance havin Illegal Immagrants along with the good for nothing annoying ass pres, and enjoy some good old american living, but it's not that way. I just don't understand why everyone has spent so much energy bashing the people that bought the place out and seems to have pretty well left the seller(guy I consider most at fault) pretty well alone. If I don't like the way things are going I either try to change them or leave, hence the reason I'm here. The only thing that links me to the old site is the classifieds because I no people that only use the site for that and I hate to miss on a sale.

Have you actually read any of the threads regarding the sale??? There was plenty of thrashing of Chris on both sites - a lot of it in the "lie" thread where he said they were just handling server management and then again in his "apology" thread.

Reading is easy, it's the comprehension that is a motherfucker.

I spent some time reading them, something along the lines of "I've been the money guy when time were good, bad, and just broke even, my kids are getting older and I need to spend more time with them, I was approached by a bunch of Canadians and decided to sell on a whim without consulting any of the other mods that have been helping to keep the site running for the past xxx years, blah blah stuff.

What I didn't really understand is why a lot of the people that left felt the need to find ways to get banned or bash and talk shit about the new owners. I simply joined the new site, made a contribution to help get/keep it going, and hope to continue selling various parts in the classifieds. With the exception of this thread and a few others, I try to give positive advice in the garage section when I can since a lot of the general questions deal with my daily grind.

My panties aren't in a wad, I'm not trying to bitch or gripe, just trying to get an understanding of why some people acted the way they did. I don't know about the good ol days as I've only been a member since 07.

I deleted the thread because all I basically received was a bunch of bullshit criticism for my question.
