What happens if you have something showing, and haven't claimed it but it says someone's already claimed it? Apparently blockbuster owes me 100 bucks but it says someone claimed it, and I never did.

My Dad discovered $12K worth of unclaimed stock that his dead wife had bought in both of their names about 20 years ago....it was only like $300 worth when she bought it.

A big fat $0.00 for me and my wife! Even looked under her Maiden name...

But, did find like $218 for my brother... I'm thinking a finder's fee is in order...

There is 96.11 owed to my father who passed away... but I won't tell my stepmother about it because she's a flaming piece of shit.

Nada for Robert or for me, but I found $55 for the shop, a couple hundred in oil royalties for my uncle, and 95 cents for my ex-husband. I'm genuinely shocked that he let that 95 cents slip past him.

If the date is prior to their marriage, you should be able to claim it as his beneficiary.
