Guys with the 2011/2012 CTS-V's - How are they holding up? You still like them? Turned into a rattle trap yet?

Does anyone know if the body style will change soon?

Looking at trading my z06 for a low miles 2011-2012 CTS-V. Need something quick, but more practical. Any suggestions on target prices for a used one? Seen 'em all the way from 45-60k.

The new CTS is supposed to come out for the 2015 model year, so probably a couple of years.

That's about the price range for that year, just depends on mileage and options (transmission, Recaros, sunroof, suede)...but you might consider 09-10 as well. Other than color, I'm not aware of any options that have changed. 09s still have another year of basic warranty and 2 more years of powertrain.

PS If anyone wants a first gen I might know of a clean one for sale.

So far so good, no problems. Runs better when cold outside. A blast to drive and even more fun punking out bimmers, benzos and vettes.

Thinking about trading in the Black 2011 and getting a blue one. not sure yet though.

Oh yeah, tires are very exspensive.

How expensive? How long are they lasting for you?

I love that blue, doesn't seem like a whole lot of them are out there (for sale).

That's a solid deal and should still have full bumper to bumper warranty through Cadillac. I'd jump on that if you like silver and want auto. It does have all options.

Just be aware the mileage sucks if it's a DD. 18 gallon tank means filling up every 200-220 miles with mostly city driving.

My jeep is a 5 speed, so I really don't mind it being a automatic.
The mileage doesn't bother me either. I'm probably going to get up early and see if he's still got it, Tulsa is a short drive for me.

                                Thanks for the input.
