Really? Are they dropping below the low 90's already?

I want a 58/59 Chevy Apache short bed step side. A driver, so maybe $10k-$15k for that. Beyond that I would probably build up a late 90's, early 2000 Excursion and offroad camping trailer.

$90k give or take a few.
The one that I was referring to was priced at $90k.

                  2006 z06's are going for $38k-$40k.
                  2008 z06's are going for $44k-$46k.

Of course you have the corvette owners that are really proud of their investments(lol), but I just overlook those cars/sellers.
I am very picky, and there are far too many fish in the sea and I am willing to travel wherever for the right vehicle, right seller, and right price.
I use cash in hand in my favor.

After seeing Fern's thread, a 1957 Chrysler New Yorker, and I would roll that bitch like it was my job!

I can get ahold of a 61 Apache Suburban for ~$700 if you're looking for a project.

Not a project that starts with a $700 vehicle.

I would imagine that would be WAY more work than I will ever complete. I would be looking to find something running and complete, but not show quality. And I am very specific about a 58/59 short bed step side. Thanks though!

It's complete, ran a year or so ago when parked. The guy is kinda the sanford and son type, I think he traded some other shit ride for this one. If I didn't already have a 72 I'd look into this one closer. IIRC all the trim and glass is there, it's a straight 6 with three on the tree, no visible rust.

I'm not trying to hawk it for this guy, I just hate to see a classic rotting away.

I see what you're saying, I just hate to buy something that I am pretty sure will sit in my garage and never get completed, only to sell for next to nothing several years later. I know my attention span and it is pretty short.

The only "project" I would be comfortable with would be something like my Bronco. Runs, drives, decent condition, but requires some tinkering once in a while.
