  • Who else is glued to the DOW?

I am catching myself refreshing the page to see how far it drops today.

Live ticker on the bottom of my screen, but I just glace every one in a while. I'd be more glued if it was unexpected.

I'll look from time to time, but we already know what's coming. Just a matter of how far and whether it leads to recession or depression.

Either way, bend over; it's coming.

Since working for Etrade back in the day, I've stopped paying attention to intraday movements. I don't have any positions that I'm worried about on a short term so I don't keep tabs on it. One of my coworkers is a part time daytrader and watches it like a hawk to the point he's like Tweek from Southpark. He's been pretty much a raw nerve all morning.

I am interested in seeing how the market responds to the SP AAA rating as its pretty much unknown territory for the market.

I wondered if we would hit -500 by lunch time. Holding around the -340 mark here for a while.

That's about the same as me. I have no stock positions, but this reaction is interesting... especially with the Fannie and Freddie shoves.

I wouldn't mind a game of Hold'em with you when you get home. I have one at my house all the time. You are more than welcome once you get stateside!
