I don't for a second condone anything these little shitheads did or the slant CNN puts on stories. But the showing of the "confederate" flag was actually the flag of the state of Mississippi, and the context in which it was mentioned "...Mississippi's troubled past" was appropriate for the story, IMO. White on black crime is actually somewhat commonplace to this day in MS, sadly. It's usually not carried to this extent though.
