  • First no drinking weekend in 1 1/2 years.

Well, I'm trying not to drink until New Years, and let me tell ya'...not drinking on the weekend is boring as hell.......until I wake up. Not being insanely hungover kicks ass. Trying to control the drinking for the next spring transformation and to hopefully just have a more positive overall attitude.

Ginger-Ale has been my close friend the past couple of days.

I need to kick my sugar habit. I ate so many damn cookies today... I think I'm gonna puke. Two Thanksgiving meals in one day is just too much!

Oh, and I agree with you about not being hung over, though I've never been drunk a single time in my life.

With a little bit of practice you can still make a fool out of yourself even without alcohol. This begs the question, why waste money on booze?

It's not so bad. When I wake up early on Saturday and already have a lot done by 11 it makes me wonder why I'd drink in the first place. And I definitely agree with tengram.

Thats my problem. Eating better is quite easy. Kicking the sodas is REAL hard for me.

I'll take that into consideration for December 31st. Haha!

Looking forward to getting back into the gym and not using every little thing as an excuse to drink. Now I just need to get my sleep schedule back to normal.

                      Good luck man.

Ive never been much of a drinker, even tho i enjoy it. Kicking cokes was my vice, as i could kill a 12 pack a day easy.

Im sitting here eating bland oatmeal instead of my nice sugar cereal .

Try adding a few slices of banana to your oatmeal. It will somewhat melt and add a natural sweeter flavor to it. It's quite tasty and makes oatmeal more bearable.

Its hard as hell let me tell ya. Two years ago because of health issues I had to cut my sugar intake to zero, no sugar in my coffe tea or desserts and to top it off no soft drinks, this was done cold turkey. Last year around this time I quit alcohol, I was drinking almost everyday and heavily during the weekend. Didn't drink for about a month and this year I have only had drinks at social events and then not enought to get drunk or drinking too much. The sugar was harder than the alcohol, because everything has sugar in it.

I went for my physical last week and everything came back normal, I went from a borderline diebetic to healthy and normal. I never really thought I was an alcoholic, but my checking account showed different, all of a sudden I had all this extra money, going out drinking heavily and buying alcohol is a huge money saver, good luck...'Henry
