I had the same just happen last week. My wife's car has been out since 4/11 and I never drive it, so the first time I drive it in a good while, I get stopped for it being out. They told me I had 20 days to fix it and it would be a $10 fee.Slow moving projects

Hell, I stretch mine out an extra month every year. If it expires in Jan, I wait until Feb.

Originally posted by dville_gt View PostThanks Matt, like I said, I am guilty, I actually made a comment about it this week, something to the tune of "wow, my inspection is waayyy out, gotta do that this weekend", then I probably added something like, "ha, got a free 6 months out of it though!" which is why karma quickly caught up to me!
Just kidding..... Although I may need that jack. Have some fence work I may need to do.

Originally posted by HarrisonTX View PostMan, I drove around for 10 months with an '09 sticker. Never got a single hassle about it.
Then all of the sudden, I get pulled over three times in three days, and get ticketed. I thought it was simply a "fix it ticket" but that only applies for 90 days.
I had it with me in Colorado, so it wasn't an issue till I came back home.
