Thing is, you gotta know what coins you have and what grade they have..... if i remember right it starts at 0 (horrible) and goes to 70(excellent) the money is when the coin is graded between 64ish-70ish... those are big money, but of course that depends on the coin and the year it was minted.

It costs money to get them professionally graded. She's just recovering expenses.
