That's just my mom's thinking on the subject and every few minutes she stands up and tells me how much more pissed she is getting over the situation LOL

Sorry for jumping to conclusions on some of the facts SEB, it's just how it read that it appeared all of this went down at one location (you bringing one dog in, etc)

Sounds like you did your part by calling her to remind her... and that's all you can do. She and her son don't need an animal at that house if that's how she handles business. And because this is ultimately HER responsibility, you don't need to do shit. SHE let that dog die by no making sure HER son was doing his job. SHE needs to bury that dog with her head held in shame.

I have pretty much agreed with Juggz. This is for the mom to take care of. Don't chime in on the subject. Maybe you can give the mother ideas on how to handle it. But don't step in and be involved when the actions are made.

He posts up the address and I WILL be calling Animal Control in that area to investigate. That's complete fucking bullshit. Some people should not own animals.

She says, "This is just me, but I think he has a bias or problem with the stepchild, saw this coming a mile away and saw this as a "training opportunity" to teach the kid something rough so he stood back and let it happen."
This has nothing to do with the topic at hand of my relationship with Peyton. Let me just say, He & I have a special bond & to this day he calls me Bashen & I have been in Peytons life since he was 2 years old. He is a great kid with a good heart. He makes good grades & never gives his mother problems.

This is why I have such a hard time on how to handle this. Cause he is such a good kid. He rarely ever does anything wrong. With me being a Step Father i don't know what is the best way to handle it with out overstepping my bounds.

This thread is all fucked. Seb is responsible and an 11 year old should be fully aware of taking care of a dog if that was indeed his responsibility.

Let the kid dig the hole..

at what age is it ok to start making kids responsible since we have so many experts in here?

i had stolen my first car by age 11.

                          god bless.

Trust me I am pissed. Very pissed considering I called & told her to bring him in.

You guys are really gonna be pissed cause this isnt the first time a dog has died, About 5 years back they had another dog named Rocky. He was a Boston Terrier we bought for Peyton & he got out the house & got hit by a car.

This is why I am frustrated and don't know how to handle this or jsut walk away & not come around till I calm down. Because I am a animal lover & outside his Dad who see's Peyton maybe 3 times year. Im the closet thing he has to a father. Me & his mom seperated 4 years ago as some of you know & we see each other. But I am not in his life every day. But I do take Responsibility of this cause it is my job as a Animal lover to teach him & make it burn in that this is not how we treat animals.
