My thinking as well. The lessons a man taught me as a child always sunk in deeper then the ones my mother tried to teach me. Moms are always soft & want to be easy & gentle about things. Hell I would laugh when my mom spanked me. But when my Dad got involved. I knew it wasnt a laughing matter anymore.
I need to talk with his mother on what to do. But right now I think the best thing to do is for him to sit in his room in the quiet and think about what happened & why Jasper is gone.GOD BLESS TEXAS

My kids aren't going to be pussies ... I try to teach them to think with their brains instead of their fists and later on I'll implement how to not think with their dick so much.
I never said the kid shouldn't know what happened to the dog. I just stated that in no way should he be held solely responsible for this.Originally posted by VertnutI'd run my junk through a waffle iron, if it makes you more "comfortable". LOL!

Either way I'm sad about the dog.
"Two types of laws protect animals from cruelty: Criminal laws and civil laws. The laws are similar but differ in the penalties they impose. If prosecuted in a criminal case, a person may face penalties including fines, jail or both. Those under the age of 18 are also required to undergo counseling if convicted of animal cruelty"
The point of this thread is to teach a lesson here with a broken hearted little boy who failed to take care of his dog & how to prevent it from ever happening again & for him to value animals & pass this lesson to his children when he grows up.GOD BLESS TEXAS

This is just sad. Short nosed breeds do not handle heat well. An adult should have been checking up due to the "extreme situation", like this heat. This heat is not normal for a dog or a kid to understand. Hell grown adults area dieing due to it!2012 Mustang GT 6/MT

I think the boy learned his lesson. He can't always depend on somebody else and the true value of owning a pet. The mom should be learning the real lessons here......
Is Jasper the boys dog or is it really the mothers dog?

Seriously go take that shit elsewhere and don't shit on this thread. PM me if you got something to say. Obviously you're upset because you think I shouldn't be entitled to comment since I have no children.

I'm doing good for myself. I turn 23 in a month and I've got a decent house I love along with two great dogs that I care for daily and I've got 4 vehicles along with a good job providing me with everything. I'm doing well off for having a criminal record and no education. Keep talking shit though if it makes you happy.

...and I'm ugly? ROFL, that's nothing new my dear... but I think a little more highly of myself and will openly admit that I believe that I clean up quite well.Originally posted by VertnutI'd run my junk through a waffle iron, if it makes you more "comfortable". LOL!

Just because something was being done one way almost 100 years ago, doesn't mean it should still be done the same way now.
If you have a pet, you should use everything at your disposal to make sure it doesn't die an unnecessary death. We all have AC and water this day in age, there is no reason why you should leave an animal to bake outside during a record stretch of heat.
