I know its not a very accurate indicator of how tomorrow will be but I have looked at 10-15 large companies, goog, aapl, lnkd (4% afterhours) and a few banks, and they all seem to be green afterhours. I am only looking for a quick 2-3% short gains tomorrow from each one. I am happy with a 6% day. If its more, super good, but if not I am happy with a few percent.
What were you guys laughing at about TYP? I know nothing about it but but I do know it finished almost at 14% today.Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

There is a good chance that you'll see an up day tomorrow. I just think even if you do, we got some down days coming next week. This was the worst day we have had in years and usually you'll see more ups and downs before things settle out. Don't get me wrong though, I don't know what it will do, no one does, I can only guess just like the talking heads.
I can say with absolute certainty that if we get another day or two like this there will be some really good prices on shares that should be kept forever. There is nothing that makes me believe that this is anything different from the Japan incident earlier this year. I've got about $20K in dry powder and I'll be bringing it to the table if that happens and probably unloading it 20% at a time, just in case we go lower.
Also, if the Fed comes out and says they will calm the markets with asset purchases, all bets are off, we'll take off for the moon. It could happen.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

We will see. I have been watching IR also, but US steel (X) is starting to look good again, along with 3M and PPG.
