    Where are the E85 pump at around dfw. Does it even make a difference.

    Classic has the best E85 in the area that I have used. It always tests out
    at E-90

        Of course it makes a difference.

        That difference being that you get roughly 25% worse gas mileage.

              Who uses E-85 for gas mileage? I like because it a great fuel for boosted engines, more power, cooler intake charge and it's nice to be able to pull to the pump and fill up with 105 octane for less than the price of regular unleaded

                  It's a known fact that it will decrease fuel economy.
                  Also, the OP didnt mention if he was trying to increase MPG, or if he had other reasons for seeking it out.

                  Youre correct, it is pointless if you're only goal is increased MPG. But, it serves other purposes brother.

                  Maybe he has an application that would benefit from the HIGH octane.

                    2011 f150 flex fuel. I haven't even searched E85 on what the benifit. Fiquered I'd find out on here.

                      It helped the pinging issue I had in my flex fuel Ranger *shrugs*. Gas mileage did suck though...
