Sounds like the logic of this kid I used to work with. He bought a POS S10 Blazer from a tote-the-note lot. As soon as it gave him trouble (nevermind it was 15 years old and had 150k plus miles) he claimed they must have sold him a lemon and refused to pay any more on it then got pissed because they repoed it. I could not stand to hear this guy say a word or he'd make me look stupid by association.
