The old adage that shows that it could be worse shows that maybe you don't have it so bad. Keep your head up and hope for the best.
Sorry if it didn't satisfy you.
Its all good brother. I understood what you were saying and also feel for your friend.
Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers.
I just picked up a battery operated wheelchair, shower stool, bed side potty and a nice walker for the wife. Mom is gonna make it with time and Dad...still dont know whats wrong for sure. They are thinking about making small cuts on his heart to stimulate it. Something about getting electrical currants goin to help his heart to beat reguarly.
By he way, my Mom and Dad devoriced when I was 18, but they are asking about each others health. Both have been remarried and have wonderful spouces at their sides. I couldnt ask for better step parents.
She broke her ankle, not her spine. Somebody's milkin' it.
Well, she has a frozen shoulder that was scheduled for surgery, so a regular chair wouldn't work for her. Thus the battery chair. I like to spoil her though.

As long as her mouth/tongue still work, and she shows appreciation, I see nothing wrong with that.
He is 69. Irregular heart beat for one. He just had test where they ran something up his leg to his heart to check the arteries. Right now he is home chair/bed bound.
