Ideally I agree with what you are saying. The laws of society will not let you forget it. If those boys in blue decide to turn their powers on you there is nothing you can do about it but hope that the system will work for you like it was designed to rather than how it's regularly abused and manipulated.

Had you walked upon those officers while they were in the middle of that fight and you interfered with what they are doing that would be bad news for you. I understand that you feel it's a matter of principle for you.

Yes, because the only mental illness is retardation, where they can't articulate perfectly.

Hell, I agree with you. The whole situation is a bowl of shit. As citizens we employ these people with the power to police society, to protect and serve. I believe a majority of officers are good people doing a very hard job. But all the good they do is completely ruined by a small group of overzealous idiots. Which in return only causes further resentment on both sides with good and bad officers.

As citizens when we're having to interact with an officer, we're at the mercy of his/her disposition. If they want to push the issue they can because they've been powered by the state to do so. It really doesn't matter for any reason either. And ALL cops do it, even some of the favorite beloved officers on this site who don't like to be questioned in the manner of the service they provide.

Like anyone else, they are human, most likely abit jaded if not completely. And how could they not be with all of the shit they see on a daily basis? I believe that most people who get into law enforcement do so because they wanted to help in the beginning. Over time they seem to forget what their job is becoming jaded and completely forgetting all sense of compassion.

It's a difficult job we ask them do but if they can't do it then they shouldn't be doing it.

We need to get together and have some man love one of these days. Put all these hard feelings behind us...

Unfortunately, the average person doesn't take one honorable breath in their entire fucking lives. If you can walk past this sort of shit going on and not do what you can to help out of principle alone, then you aren't worth the oxygen that you breathe. Your deeds will define you, not your big TV, your salary, your house, none of it. If you can't stand up for your brother, then you won't stand up for yourself. If you won't stand up for yourself, then you're more akin to the violator than the violatee.

                • If a cop does no action to another cop that kills someone, are they not accessory to murder?

If me and 5 other friends ( assuming i had that many ) beat the shit out of whiteboy and he died, wouldn't all 6 of us be held accountable regardless?

                  • Man, how have I missed over this gem of 8 pages. Shit now I have something to do for the next hour.

Someone spoil it for me and tell me who is winning though.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I have no hard feelings at all Mike. Life is too short to hold grudges over trivial shit. I much rather make friends than enemies. Just let me know when you'd like to get together.

I agree with you. You know me, you know that I'm one not typically to hesitate into action when need be. The problem with that scenario you mentioned is that I am a husband and a father, I don't have luxury of taking life altering chances. So what am I to do?

At the very least, film it and be a good witness.

I'm sorry, It's not assault if you start yanking those fucks off of that guy, especially while someone else is video taping it.

It would take 6 of you to beat up Jeremy? Pussies!

None of this applies to the police. You have to learn to accept these double standards, otherwise Trublu cries his eyes out all over this fucking website.

Just like if you kick in a door you're not supposed to be at and spray a household with indiscriminate gunfire, you're going to prison for a LONG time.

If you're a PD, you leave the dog dead, the local mayor laying in the dog blood, the door destroyed and walk out
