        Yeah, that's what I would do. Sanding and rattle canning works great and can be refreshed easily when necessary.

            4 years and still looking good is enough for me. A rattle can is much cheaper.

                        Do we have a powdercoating hookup anymore? I told the fiancée what I was thinking and she said, "I want black wheels too." (lexus IS). So I might have 8 wheels to get coated soon

                          $100 on Craigslist for wheels and centercaps then some self etching primer, 400 grit and semi gloss engine enamel.

                                Looks good. I have had great results with rattle can painted wheels over the years. The high temp engine enamel has been particularly durable.
