I dont know which you're referring to, but know that air force SERE is far different. They have e4, and maybe even lower as instructors.

Try Security Forces first and wish for a Raven spot

AF EOD is not a bad gig either and has great potential in the civilian market, but most of the civilian jobs for EOD are here in this shithole country. By the time you get enough experience to be marketable we will have already pulled out of here and so will the civilian jobs.

Try Armorer, play with toys all day.

Walking across the parade deck from boot camp and into a SERE job is a stretch.
