So I was thinking about what's going on in Korea right now...should we get aggressive or wait til they kill one of our soldiers before getting to involved? I personally think we should step up and let'em know whos the boss. I know that at the moment we are out numbered, but jeez don't they realize what kinda drama their bringing messing with our homies?

North Korea is no slouch. It would be far worse than anything weve seen in a couple decades.

They carry a mighty big stick aswell. And honestly, Ive seen the size of our stick, lol.

There is no reason I can see to go to war with N Korea. We have them right where we want them. As long as CNN can't get their cameras in there to video their hell on earth life, we are good to go. The last thing the US needs right now is another few million starving mouths to feed. That being said, I think in my lifetime there will be serious military action in Korea.

Big stuff??? That's what this would be all about, with that young Korean kid in charge, it would be crazy. I just pray it never comes down to nuclear weapons, I seriously see that happening in our lifetime as well.

The issue with North Korea is most of their assets are subterranean. They have tunnels wide enough to move tank battalions through side by side, it's very impressive. That and every asset we have have been marked by NK for decades. Our in processing briefing at Camp Grieves was "Your life expectancy is 15 seconds if the North goes south. That is the flight time for their mortars to hit this base. Every spot here is covered by their long range artillery and mortars and this base will be rubble before you even hear the mortars coming. Enjoy your stay in Korea."

If we go in, it's going to be nasty and bloody. Those tunnels are booby trapped and concealed like crazy. Outside of combing every foot of ground with ground penetrating radar and use of some VERY heavy duty munitions, it's best for us to stay out and starve them to death.

seeing that we are contucting war games with the south starting tomorrow, that we have dispatched quite a few subs to that regin. BTW all our subs are nuclear.
