I doubt it was an inside job, but no doubt it was a large crew doing it. These wheels are targeted because they can be sold for $1000 all day long and are not as easily traceable as aftermarket wheels.

that's kind of what i was thinking...they know that they can get some aftermarket wheels/tires for half the price and pocket the rest...and mark the truck up a little more, since it has "custom wheels and tires"...

my aunt's tahoe had the wheels and tires stolen...they were the factory 20" wheels and tires with about 40k miles on them. her insurance cut her a check for around $5k.

Time for a vacation and some 26" wheels.
