I am selling my '95 Lexus and wanted to see if anyone could send me the carfax to it as a selling point. That is unless it's been fucked and I was unaware of it.

Are you saying that you would hide the carfax if it's negative?

Hi, My name is Tony. I lost my left arm, my business, and assets. I traded this for my 65k 900hp dream car, because I needed to find myself, because I no longer cared about values the same. This Lexus I will TRY to get 4500 for it.
In short, I've already cut myself short 60k. If my car was 3 different cars at one time, then no need for the paperwork... I'm one of the most honest people you'll ever meet. It looks great, and even with a possible shady title, with honesty someone will eventually buy.

Ok first off your first paragraph has nothing to do with my question. Why do you do that so much?
why would you not provide someone with a carfax if it's derrogatory? They can pull their own anyway so you might as well be straight with em.

Basic tactic of selling a used car. If you point out all the negative shit, either no one is going to buy it, or they are going to lowball the shit out of you. I wouldn't provide a negative carfax on a vehicle I was trying to sell either. If the buyer cares that much, then they can do the legwork. Carfaxes are 90% bullshit anyway.

Is it the 10% that keeps so many people hooked then?

Maybe I am being misunderstood.. Just pointing out, it's not that big a deal. I would be completely honest with the buyer, however I can't use a negative carfax as a selling point. I don't watch tv, but I did sell cars once. Just about everyone asks for one, and having mine handy would be helpful.
Thank you for the carfax... and I apologize but I wasn't trying to be negative.
