Question: I don't have a toll tag, and I have never signed a contract that requires me to pay a fee for their service, so how can I be billed, or even charged a late fee? I have never agreed to any services or fees that go along with it.

You get on their toll road...it's an understood fact that you owe to be on that piece of roadway

That is bullshit. Just by getting on the road, I have no idea what all fees are incurred, especially late fees.

State law says you are liable. Which is bizarre because the tollway authority is a semi-private entity. Meaning, when it is convenient for them they are part of government, when its isn't, they claim to be a private company.

Now, if they tried to report that debt to a credit agency, well that is where you can ask the agency to produce proof you agreed to pay. They couldn't of course. That is why when you get notices from the NTTA, it has a bogus name of some "credit agency" on them. It isn't a real credit agency, just them trying to act like one since no agency would buy their debts.

Anyone ever used one of these? Hell, I use a tollroad maybe twice a year, and avoid them at all costs, but would gladly spend $70 to keep $8 out of those fuckwads pockets.

There are so many different branchs of the Goverment in some form & this is the BIG PROBLEM in AMERICA.

You have

Federal Goverment trying to get money
State
County
Local
Other Forms of Goverment IE Tollways, School Districts,NTTA

Then you have all your everyday bills where they are nickle & diming you to death. LETS NOT FORGET OUR BANKS TOO! They are always charging some Fee for your account to keep it maintained.

Shit is out of control in this country & the problem is its out of control on every level in this country & Uncle Sam & the Banks & Corporations dont see it because Uncle Sam is getting his money on so many different levels EXAMPLE ABOVE...

This is another example in this thread of the grip getting tighter & tighter in this country & how the goverment IMO is nothing but a Huge Mafia!!!!

It's what Blockbuster used to do with their late fees. Pink paper from some bogus collection agency owned by Blockbuster.

Do you know every law that pertains to driving a vehicle, so can you claim negligence when a cop pulls you over for tinted tail lights, when you didn't know it was illegal?
