you didn't get the memo? Asian women are no longer allowed to drive after that one in califonria plowed into that plymouth.

On topic, I was in there last week and a guy went through a 45 minute wait, only to find out as he got to the counter, they were done doing driving tests for the day. I would have been pissed.

The whole driving test scheduling/waiting thing is bullshit. I didn't know that drivers education courses are no longer sufficient to get the tests done and you have to go to the DPS to take the driing test anyway until recently. Jesus I'm tired.

My GF came from a Mormon family and wasn't allowed to drive. She used to live in Vegas and said she didn't NEED to drive, just took a taxi or rode the busses. She has lived here for 3 years now and since we've been dating I taught her how to drive and had her take the test. She drove like a 16 year old but wasn't as fearless, said she was old now and knew it would hurt if she wrecked, lol. She passed the test but isn't the best driver and refuses to even get on a hwy. She has come a long way ffrom the sheltered Mormon girl when I met her, LOL

It's not a female thing, I assure you. As an insurance agent I see this shit ALLLL the time. Grown ass men and women who are in their mid 20's, 30's, and some 40's just NOW attempting to get a license. More often than not, teen drivers don't even go after the license right away. I add way more 18 year olds to policies than 16 year olds. The parents call to find out how they can motivate their kid to drive and not be scared to. I have no clue what to tell them. I'm not Dr. Phil, I'm a damn agent LOL

I really think 50 percent of the people that live in my city have no DL. I stopped 7 cars one day and one guy had a DL. What was shocking is that it was the little old hispanic man that spoke no English and he was my last stop. I didnt even write him a ticket and my partner and I laughed. The conversation went kinda like this. I stopped him and walked up to the window. He started with no abla english and his grandson translated, he handed me his DL and walking back to the car my partner said so what is this 7 in a row. I held up the guys DL and he said well shame on him for thinking that guy had no DL. LOL I told him no it was just one of them days.

In fact, in China, if you don't take the driving test in a manual transmission, you're not allowed to drive a manual transmission car on the street.
Did I miss where you stated her age? Hell this story could have been from last year.

I can see it if you live in a city and there are plenty of mass transit or other options like cycling. I understand there are people that live in areas like Manhattan that might live their whole lives having never driven or owning a car.

This is in no shape, form, or manner a criticism or FTP post, just a quick question. Do all cops have partners. You were on traffic duty with a partner... that seems wierd. I have never been pulled over by leo that had a partner with him. Was it in a dangerous part of the city?
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
