actually the property doesn't belong to anyone right now.

If the bank foreclosed on the house, they have legal rights to it, but until the paperwork is completed, it doesn't belong to the original owner or the bank. Once it is completed, the bank owns it. But if the bank went bankrupt, then the bankruptcy courts will have to process it, and reassign title to the new owner, if the property is purchased by another bank. Or the bankruptcy court will turn it over to someone else to sell to recoup some amount of money to clear the debt as part of the bankruptcy. Until then it's kind of in a limbo state.

I knew how you felt, it just seems like most are pissed because he's a black instead of a white, even though they say they aren't.

In matters of items that require title, i.e. land/car.

Possession of the item itself is not 9/10 of the law. Possession of the title is possession.

Sure you can go request a title, and as long as it isn't disputed, you can end up owning the land/car. But that doesn't mean you will.

Not cheering him directly, cheering the fact that the little guy is getting one over on the banks for once instead of the other way around.

Nope, but that is a different issue. This house wasn't up for rent and no one was looking after it. It was an abandoned property.

FYI, when people are "sticking it to the man" they are really only sticking it to everyone else in the form of higher costs to all. True story.
I agree with this 110% Those at the top aren't going to just absorb the costs, it'll get passed down to those that don't care enough to do something about it.

Hopefully all the attention he is getting will get the situation resolved properly.
I doubt he makes it to the end of the year before being out on his ass. But at least he is giving it a try.

Seems like you're butt hurt because you worked your ass off to get what you have and think everyone should have to as well. Do you get pissed off at lottery winners because they didn't work to earn their money?

BTW, I work and pay my taxes and don't like people getting handouts anymore than the next guy.
