No problem at all when on vacation. On my last trip I accidentally left my droid in my backpack and it was on, luckily it was in airplane mode so I didn't get any of those 50 cent international text messages. Usually I lock my phone in the safe for a solid week.

it would take a while to adjust to it, but i think i could go disconnected. I won't lie, my phone is pretty much glued to my hand, but i could do without it. I prefer making small talk with a stranger anyway, but most of the strangers down here are just completely mad, or they're on their phone. haha.

It would be pretty hard for me, I keep with all of my friends and family via Facebook and AIM and I use my phone for work alot. I miss a day of emails, Ill be behind for a week trying to catch up with all the replies.

I own a cell phone but don't carry it. The things are pointless. I play online games but only for entertainment rather than watching a lot of TV. It wouldn't bother me if they were gone because I could read books which I do a lot when I am not around my computer, on vacation for example.

Being "connected" is a habit that a lot of people have convinced themselves that they can't do without. People who can't go five minutes without playing with their Iphone pretty much annoy the shit out of me because it is almost like interacting with a person that has ADD. It would be different if these people were making phone calls but they aren't, it is emails, texting or words with friends. Very little of that stuff is time sensitive.

I could throw my phone away and not give 2 shits... I do use it quite often, but would not bother me to lose it..

While I was in Nz I was without internet and my phone and it drove me nuts. I need constant information to keep from focusing on voices (seriously, I hear voices)

Wouldn't be a problem for me at all. I vacation where phones won't work, and it's a very nice escape.

I have when I'm on vacation. When I visit family in Mexico every so many years, I'll go almost 2 weeks w/out it. No problem at for me. I'm on pc/phone more when I'm here around DFW. When I go anywhere outside of here, I don't use pc/phone as much.

Put me in a cabin in the middle of nowhere and I’d be happy. Even more happier if I also had a real nice garage full of toys! Cell phones and computers do not run my life.

I try to when I get a vacation(a rarity itself), but it really depends where I'm at. Last week I was in Phoenix with my dad and was online quite a bit when we were eating dinner or at the hotel.

If I was somewhere like Vegas, I would probably check out what's up maybe once a day.

My preference would be somewhere without cell/internet service - for a week or so. By the end of the week I will probably have tried to Macguyver(sp?) an online device out of whatever is laying around.
                          .

When the end of days comes I will be set. I am fine without my phone. I usually leave it on the night stand during the weekends when Im not worried about work.

I like to keep the phone nearby, but can go weeks without logging into the comp. just don't take away my xbox, or i'll be forced to read more about the psychology of becoming a killer. LOL!
