I don't know how to do a poll so I think ill just ask what ya'll think. Are they worth it? I seem to have heard that once you start using one, you have to continue going or they making matters worse or something. I never popped or tried to popmy neck groing up and all of a sudden (for cooter), I can pop it effortlessly if I just bending it to the left and again to the right. And my neck hurts like I need to pop it continuously and I don't want to get in te habit of popping it all the time.

It depends on whats wrong with you. They can straighten your spine and readjust bones/joints but if you need surgery go to a surgeon. My chiropractor actually helped me a lot more than my osteopathic doctor with back pain. I've always had an achey lower back in the mornings but I haven't since going to see a chiropractor.
You also should consider phyiscal therapy as another option but really talk to a good primary care phyisican before doing anything. Or see a spinal specialist and see what they tell you.
Chiropractors are a good option for lots of people but a good one will also let you know when they can't fix your problems, a bad one will recommend lots of visits and all kinds of herbal remedies.

Used to think they were snake-oil salesmen. That was my ignorance.
I've gone maybe six or eight times in the past five years. We live in a pretty small town in E Tx and our local Chiro is awesome; He has saved me a ton of pain. Never once offered to sell me snake oil.

I am a firm believer in what they do. My work and recreational activities are very physical and I don't believe that I could maintain the pace that I do without help from my chiropractor. An upside is that you never seem to get sick either; I haven't missed a day of work or play since 94'.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.
