I'm thinking of firing a tranquilizer dart into my jugular.
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
Haven't been there in a long time. Did they ever get their food issues figured out?
Hit or miss, dude. My friend Erik, did their menu fresh out of culinary school and when he was done, they fired him. Shits gone down hill since then, but I thought I'd give it another chance. What food issues did they have when you were there?

Same thing. You could go on a Tuesday, order whatever, and it would be decent. Go back on Wednesday, order same thing, and it was absolute shit.
Yeah, that happens a lot unfortunately. They were too fucking cheap to hire this one guy to consult and do all the menu design. Same guy that did La Margarita and Mi Dia.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.

AAhhhh, same thing still. Today the Totopos were good, not as good as they've been.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.
Grapevine folks - Winewood and Mi Dia should both be open by mid August. Both on Main next to Bob's. Winewood is similar to Houston's. Mi Dia is a mod-Mex concept with incredible food.
