My advice, go see Skip and drive the Fiesta and Focus. Remember, you are used to a larger car like the Cobalt, so make sure you really are fine with the smaller Fiesta.
The Fiesta and Focus cost less and get 40mpg. The real advantage to the Jetta TDI is the engine lasting forever and a day.BEWARE OF PEREZ TRANSPORT LLC

My daughter just got one, shes getting over 40+ mpg. I'm not a little guy and I fit in the front area very comfortable and even went for a ride in the back seat, of course her and my wife were in the front and and they had the seats moved up. There was four of us and you could tell that 1.6 litre was strugging but its not really made for hauling four people but it can for around town driving. Its a pretty nice car and you can even get them loaded with leather, etc.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I've put 5,000 miles on mine since last month. No problems so far. It's a great little car..... I'm averaging 38 mpg currently on the meter. I have the sedan version and not the hatch/automatic.
Actually I take that back. One of the buttons you press for the phone is a little off but it still works fine. Just have to make sure you press it down correctly. All the other buttons you can barely touch and they register.

If Skip doesn't call you back go see CarlosV at Bankston Ford (hes a member here too), Skip for some reason or another never answered PM's or answered the phone number provided, so I bought three cars at Bankston Ford in Frisco. We bought a 2011 Focus, 2011 Fiesta and my 2012 5.0 GT, they are dealing at that store and they answer calls.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

my advice to anyone buying a small car is buy the wagon or 4dr hatch version if they offer it. really small 4dr cars with a trunk don't have room for shit compared to a wagon/4dr hatch. hell if i could do it all over again i would have bought a scion xb, yea it's fugly to say the least but it has pleeenty of room and they come with power windows/locks, cd player, etc stock.
