  • Landlords - what tenant screening service do you use?

My current long term tenants are moving out, and I'm curious what everyone uses to screen possible tenants. Up to this point I've really relied on instinct and haven't been burned, but will be looking for credit history and such this time around. A quick google search shows endless companies who will do it for you for around $20, just curious about recommendations.

tell tenant to bring his free yearly credit report or to pay a 40 application fee.

Pick any site you want, there are tons, and just charge the fee back to the applicant, as an application fee per person on the lease.
