Back on topic. Just wanted to get some ideas from other guys when they cant take the Bitching anymore.

I know there is other members who have Baby Momma Drama & GF pounding on you at the same time.

My wife gets all worked up and the realizes that I'll argue with a brick wall about the sky being blue and gets mad/frustrated and runs off to the bedroom crying.

I'm an ass, and I pay for it a lot, but she is realizing that it takes a lot for me to get heated, and that I'll argue my point til the cows come home, so things have gotten a lot better.

I think it's a pick your battles situation.

In all seriousness, if it becomes an all out bitch-fest and overheated, one of us calls a timeout and the other person has to leave for 15 minutes. Then we can start up again, hopefully, more calmly.

Other method is I let her ramble for 3 minutes without me saying or doing a thing. Usually it's all out by then if I don't interject anything. Then I get my say.

Take a serious mellow tone and say something like....."LOOK, once you reach the point of screaming, you lose the ability to communicate. This IS not... and WILL not be an abusive relationship of ANY kind... and I won't partake in this nonsense. If you don't like that then you need to leave or I'll go so we can get some clear air between the two of us."

you know what works for me is i get a good thick pillow and place it over their face..... theyll struggle for a bit, but eventually theyll get the point and stop moving even.... its like they take a nap or something.... after that i just leave their house and go about my business.....

My mother is subborn as all get out, like you could not even imagine, and I'm the only one that any of our family can think of that is more stubborn than her.

It's not the best trait to have, but it has come in handy on many occasions.

I see. It does suck having to deal w/ your child's mother, I understand. I was awarded custody of my daughter last October so I know what the nagging can be like.
