Austin Ranch in Grapevine? It can't be that expensive. On a side note I went to a wedding at The Village in Colleyville a couple of months ago and it was NICE! I know the bill had to be well over $50k but it was the nicest one I've been to. Heck the honeymoon was probably another $10k, and they live together in an $80k house.

IIRC, it was about $300 for up to 200 people?, they have a small dance floor, a place for a DJ or you can bring your own tunes and hook it up to the sound system, you can bring in all your own food and they provide all the beer you can drink. Sounds perfect to me!

The drawbacks are that it is just a warehouse with a brewery inside. There isn't much climate control, it'll smell like beer and they can only serve beer. If those things don't bother you then it's a great venue. It's packed every Wednesday and Saturday regardless of the weather and nearly everyone has a good time.

Fritz plays a decent guitar and he has several good musicians working for him, you could probably negotiate free entertainment during it. Or he can get the same bands that play the Saucer. They also have lots of local places that'll cater, pay upfront or make it a cash deal.
