I just roll with a dealer plate on all of my rides. By law only one dealer plate can be displayed on a vehicle.

    Take that, police.

I've tried to find something for mine, unfortunately everything is either butt ass ugly or doesn't stay on without destroying the front bumper cover.

So what gives LEO's (answer to my orginal post)? why is this law inconsistent when it comes to front plates? I've always asked my self that.

The law isn't inconsistent, the enforcement is. Just like I said, the front plate law needs to be done away with. It is used only as an excuse to pull people over. That is why the DPS has days when they pull people over on the side of the highway all day long for no front plate, they are hoping to find something else. It is called a "fishing expedition".

Along the same lines of Dohctr's post, cars with dealer plates don't have to have one. Cars from other states that don't require one don't have to have one. Hell cars from other states that don't require inspections don't have to have one either (OK, MI, FL and TN).

All of this is nonsense that needs to go away, the police have enough to do without wasting their time on shit like front license plates and "safety" inspections. Citizens also don't need their time wasted and their safety jeopardized over shit like this. Thus, my original post.

                    Cops lie.

There are cops out there that know what is right and wrong to ticket someone for.

And some that want to write tickets for something such as a missing front plate that does not harm anyone.

                    End of story.

My car doesn't have a place for one either. I find that cops don't usually worry to much about it, but I have been stopped once.

Doesn't affect me. The law requires a front plate on my vehicle, I have one on it, so I don't get ever pulled over by LEOs for this issue.

                        Simple really.....

Shut it! Lol, I just re-read it. It made sense about the crash part is why I ran with it. I am reading on my phone so that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!

Do you ever have an original thought about any law you enforce or do you just do what you are told and dream of cashing that next paycheck?
