Real haunted places in Texas

Are there any supposedly real haunted houses/places in Texas left? If so, where?


I was having a conversation with some co-workers and a few friends during lunch about ghost hunting and what not. I think it would be a pretty cool experience and to investigate an old hotel or town that is supposedly haunted.


Personally I don't believe in ghost or spirits so I doubt I'd even see anything if I went but I would be open to having my mind changed about the subject.

Supposedly there's some railroad tracks in Mosier Valley (Euless) that are haunted by a little boy who was killed there.

There's some RR tracks in San Antonio that are supposedly haunted.

Story goes like this. A bus stalled on the tracks and was hit by a train in and it killed all the kiddos. Park at that crossing in the middle of the night, shut the motor off, and your car is supposed to roll (being pushed by the ghosts) off the track. If you put baby powder on the rear of your car, little kid hand prints appear.

I don't believe in that stuff.

My question is where are these little kids when the Malibu brakes down, and I need a little push..

Yes....a lot of history in that place. I passed by there earlier this year...pretty creepy looking place.

There is one in Ennis. They used to allow tours through, but I am not sure any more. You want a true haunted house, swing by my old house in Mesquite.

I respectively disagree. I lived in one till I was 7 years old. Lot of shit happened in that house. My uncle lost his keys in the house in the middle of summer, they turned up in a heavy winter coat in the closet.

Me and my sister both saw it and described it much in the same way, she saw it when she was 3, I saw it 6 years later. She described it as "Mr Potato head". I described it as a clown. It scared me so badly that I can still remember what it looked like to this day and I was 3 years old when I saw it.

The house had cold spots, things went missing all the time, lights flickering, a parakeet had a heart attack in it's cage, dogs and cats refused to stay in the back bedroom area, etc etc. Our dog actually tore a hole in the bedroom door trying to get out, never did that in our next house.

Talked to a few of the people that lived in the house after we did. They all had similar issues with it. Last time I was in the area, I swung by, the house is empty.
