Some good beer I had last night. Made in McKinney but I've never seen it at the store.

Looks like it's only available on draft. Maybe call them and ask?

Desoto area but I liked it enough I would be willing to go up north if I could get several cases... Was thinking of calling the company tomorrow to see if they do any kind of direct sale. Not sure how big of an operation they have.

A Goody Goody might have it, but a lot of specialty stores should be able to order it. You might be able to get it at the Majestic on W. Pioneer in Pantego.

No direct sales between the brewery and the people. Thank InBev-Anheuser for that, we had a bill in house that would allow craft breweries to sell at the brewery, but it would be limited to breweries that made 75K barrels a year of less, and InBev didnt qualify, and of course their money was in the houses pockets somehow. So your stuck with buying it on draft.

But where did you find it? I'd love to try some, I'm all about supporting the little guys in the beer biz.

Anvil pub in deep ellum. Was actually a cool place. Had a dive bar feel and about 30 beers on tap lots of exotic types. Had about 50 bottles on display not sure if it was their menu or not. Think I'm gunna make that my sat or Sunday afternoon hangout...

It's also all over McKinney, Allen, etc...the brewery does tours for like $5 on Saturday's as well and I've heard they're good.

The tour is pretty good it's $5.00 with free beer! I went a few weeks back and they said they are planning to bottle the beer in the near future. It will still only be available locally though.

Is it actually a tour or more of an open house with some drink coupons? I do the Rahr "tour" all the time, it's a great deal and good beer.

An actual tour. You can also pick up kegs of Franconia at S&K in Plano. I've done that several times.
