This will weigh heavily when deciding whether or not I circumcise any sons I might have.

      • I just don't see it as a big fucking deal. You either get it done as a kid or you don't. In my opinion there's really no wrong answer if your parents decided for you as a child or not. As far as women liking a man and his dick....she'll fuck you no matter what as long as you know how to close the deal. If she didn't then you obviously lack skillz!!! that's just my opinion

Not at all. My dad (who was 17 when I was born) had one of his few "I'm a dad" moments and sat down with me and explained why I looked different than everyone else. He gave me the option and the doctor explained the benefits and risks. At 13, I was bright and understood what was going on so I chose to have it done.

In the hospital, my brother milked it and complained until he got ice cream, a tv with dvd player in his room and nurses checking on him. Me? I got my dad stealing my TV remote to watch General Hospital.

Thanks for sharing that. Now, see that makes sense, and is exactly what I plan on doing if I have a son. I want him to decide if he wants it done. Just depends on the individual kid if he is mature enough to make that decision at 13, or 16, or later.

LOL at your brother, I did that shit when I had my tonsils out. I had a ton of ice cream and they brought a NES into my room so I spent the entire hospital stay playing duck hunt.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Our boy was snipped just a few hours after birth and in his 17 months of life there hasn't been any issues what-so-ever. If we have another boy he will also be snipped.
It was the Birth Center down town right by Bailer . We did have to waite to have it done because we ended up needing and emergency c-section and had to go to Bailer in the middle of labor . It was a few weeks later (not sure if it was six) we brought him back and Cherie (the mid wife) sent my wife for a walk and she and I took care of the trim . It was fast and easy with no drama .

Yes, and she also said that she had a son that was uncircumcised, and other son that had a botched circumcision, which means she deals with it daily

And here it gets to this, just as mentioned in my post. As has been mentioned MANY FUCKING TIMES already, removing foreskin is not the same as cutting away at a clit. The foreskin isn't being removed to lessen a mans sexual pleasure, or to give the appearance of the man being a virgin, it is done to lessen the chances of infections. Many times it is done by parents because they choose for their child's dick to not look abnormal, and that they want the kid to be able to fit in with society. instead of being an outcast or labeled a freak.

I guess next we will hear of the mutilation of ears due to earrings and skin due to tattoos.

Please quote my post where I called you out by name, but, while you are here, please inform us if you do indeed have an aboriginal penis, as it would help clear up that argument.

We don't deal with it on a daily basis anymore, but it was a PITA for the first few years. I didn't elect to have him cut. It was one of those 'Hey, your insurance covers it, so we figured you'd want it done....and can you go ahead and sign this permission slip for us, kthnxbai,' kinda things.

They used the plastibel ring, which is the route that leaves more foreskin, but we dealt with keloid scarring, calcium deposits, and ironically a shit ton of UTIs. The funny part is that if you put him next to his uncircumcised younger brother who has been taught to retract his foreskin, you can't tell the difference. The 'dog dick' that people most associate with intact men is a condition known as phimosis. An uncircumcised man who has retracted his foreskin is hard to single out from a circumcised man. You actually see quite a few intact men in porn, but most people never know the difference.

No, taking the foreskin is not like cutting off the clit. It's like removing the hood of the clit, which causes a decrease in sensitivity over time.

And your simile about tattoos is pretty much on par. They're only performed on an adult, unless a child has reached a certain age with parental consent. You would be hard pressed to find anyone in western civilization who would tattoo an infant, right?

                      • I've seen some messed up circumcisions on babies, and I've seen some bad infections with uncircumcised kids. It goes both ways. Really, there is no right or wrong answer about what to do. If your child gets an infection because he's not circumcised, it's because you're not cleaning it properly. And I've also seen parents who forget to roll the foreskin back down and essentially cause it to act as a tourniquet to the head of the penis. Ouch!

Personally, my son will be circumcised when he's born because that is what we want.

                        • This thread is chocked full of ignorance. Like I said earlier, I am uncut and very happy about it. I thank God my parents didnt snip me because it really is genital mutilation. i have never understood why people get infections. I have had my dick for 33 years and have never once had a problem. Every woman i have talked to doesn't care about a flacid man's cock anyway, and when you got a full on, the foreskin goes away. The mentality of "just do your son a favor and cut it" is scary.
It was put there for a reason......leave it alone. If you love your kids, teach them to wash there dicks.

The reason there is a landslide of cut to uncut in this pole is because the majority of guys are cut and are ignorant about the uncut.

You want honest answers about being uncut, listen to the guys that are uncut. There is no reason to hurt your son by cutting the tip of his dick off.
