83 F150 reg cab long bed. I worked on it at the small independent mechanic's shop that I worked at, and then got told I was buying it (a deal my dad made with the owner of the truck) so I paid the shop for my own labor. That sucked.

Two weeks after I started driving it the oil pump locked up while I was hauling hay. With it down and needing an engine, I bought an 87 tbird lx sport for $300 and then worked the truck's engine over at work. By my junior year, I would walk out and drive whichever one started.

I'd like to own a skylark from about that same vintage.

Friend in HS was going to get a 71 Skylark from his dad. One owner, mint fucking car, he sold it to buy a honda accord to rice out.

My old nova had the bench, was very handy in HS. It's probably a good thing it didn't have any power because I drove it like I stole it.

89 Chrystler LeBaron GT convertable. It was a fun little car but the motor on the top went out so it had to be taken down and put back up manually...that was a bitch.
