Here is what I found:
Fort Worth police on Thursday afternoon were in the 900 block of East Berry Street after an apparent shooting involving an officer, according to radio traffic.
It was not immediately clear whether an officer had been shot, although the scanner traffic indicated that an officer was involved.
Investigators were chasing a gunman near Evans Avenue and a helicopter ambulance had been called, according to the scanner traffic.
MedStar Ambulance reported that an "officer-involved" shooting report had come in at 1:53 p.m.

FOREST HILL - Fort Worth police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of an officer in Forest Hill.
The shooting happened Thursday just before 2 p.m. in the 900 block of East Berry Street located near a local BBQ restaurant.
The veteran officer reportedly was on regular patrol. He stopped for an unknown reason and when he stepped out of his car, the suspect allegedly shot him at least once.
A manhunt was quickly ensued and one suspect was apprehended. The alleged gunman apparently ran into a nearby wooded area to hide. The man was dressed in black jeans, a black hoodie and handcuffs when he was brought out of the wooded area.
The officer is listed in serious condition at John Peter Smith Hospital.

FORT WORTH, Texas - A Fort Worth police officer was shot early Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened just before 2:00 in front of Robinson's Bar-B-Que restaurant on E. Berry, east of Interstate 35 in the southern portion of the city.
According to investigators, the unidentified officer was responding to a call about a suspicious person when he approached the man, who was walking east on the roadway.
The individual had his back to the officer but quickly turned to face him and opened fired, striking the officer once in the lower abdomen, police said.
The suspect fled on foot but there were conflicting reports as to whether he was in custody.
However, officers apprehended a man near the scene of the shooting and drove him back to the area of restaurant, where he remained inside a patrol car.
The officer was hospitalized in stable condition and was undergoing surgery.
He is a 16-year veteran with teh force.
No further details were immediately available.
