Thanks for your input. It's kind of crazy how all over the place the reviews are on the Virgin Islands. You can read two reviews written on the same day, one will say it's gorgeous heaven on earth, the next one will it's a dump.

We are definetly looking for a calm, laid back vacation with no stress. Just some fun time in nice weather on a nice beach.

Don't know your budget, but Tahiti would be perfect for you. It was so laid back and enjoyable. You aren't a drinker so an all-inclusive probably wouldn't be worth it. Have you checked in to Playa del Carmen? That's a great place, too.

On the contrary, I do drink, I just don't drink out in public when I have to drive. But I will drink at home and on vacations. Hell, I won playing flip cup at the party at our house last week!

The Balearic Islands are a better choice for a vacation. Great beaches, and they have an insane nightlife.

This. I used to live less than an hour from there... Siesta Key, Ana Maria, Longboat Key, etc. Disney is only 2 hours from there and Miami is only 5 hours away.

Anyone ever been there? I'm planning our next vacation, looking for a laid back place, all inclusive, clear blue water and white sand.

Caneel Bay Resort on St. John.

A lot of different things to do, snorkeling, hiking and just plain ol' R&R. Rent a Jeep to cruise around to the different Bays. You can also Ferry back and forth to St.Thomas if you really want to Party.

We did a private Charter and went to many different islands including Virgin Gorda BVI, a must do and see!

We stay at a small family owned resort on St. Thomas called Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. www.Bolongobay.com
It's on it's own private beach, has a dive shop on site, a formal-ish restaurant, and a laid back bar and grill down the walkway. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The beaches are way nicer and Destin, the water in the BVI's or US side is amazing either way though. Very worth the trip Steve
