        • This thread serves multiple purposes!

A.) For the OP to point out that he drives a vette.

B.) For the OP to point out that his vette has 638 hp.

C.) For the OP to point out that his vette can do 205mph, bone stock so 97mph ain't a big fuckin' deal.

D.) To show that he's driving a car worth twice my salary, if not more, yet is too much of a cheap cocksucker to pay a $400 ticket!

Never had a DWI in my life, so you're obviously confused.

Again, if I choose to fight a ticket to try to keep my record clean, that is my choice. Deal with it.

                        • Read about 1.5 pages of this, so forgive me if this has been covered...

I don't blame you for wanting a traffic attorney, but you should have hired one on the front end before trying to handle this yourself. Now you know.

The excuse for speeding thing really tickles me, though. As mentioned, everyone can blurt out an excuse. And if the excuse is legit, then obviously you made the conscious decision that getting home was more important than worrying about a speeding ticket. You decided it was worth the risk. You got busted. So why do you expect leniency? You should never assume that you'll be able to get off using a sob story. Instead, you just need to ask yourself if getting home asap is more important than the risk of getting a ticket, and if so, take your lumps if you get pulled over. The circumstances involved mean that YOU should make the sacrifice, not the rest of the world (in this case, the cops/judge).

                          • Now that I have let this work up to a nice frothy pace...Am I the only one that read that his old lady has brain cancer and is prone to panic attacks? I had to go back and read that again. It might be different if he left cookies in the oven or left the iron on. Or if, like my mother in law, left a pot of beans on the stove. But brain cancer?

I just wonder what the fuck some of you idiots have between your ears because it sure isn't brains. Could it be monkey shit? I'm not sure but maybe the attitudes have to do with the fact that he owns a ZR1. It probably has to do with the sanctimonious horseshit that flows into just about every thread but I'm guessing the ZR1 just rubs you fags raw. Chaps the old coinpurse does it? Everyone from the shitbag police to the swinging dick on the street can't get enough of the envy of the rich we have lately in this country. Like that justifies treating anyone different. Would it be different if he was driving a Yugo? If any of you guys want a ZR1 then get your asses to work and buy one. It costs $100k not a billion dollars. You can own one too if you aren't too god damn lazy to get it or aren't wasting your money on useless shit like Iphones and chrome truck nuts.

                              • okay, she has(or had) brain cancer & panic attacks. she was worried but not in any danger, the neighbor was there making sure she was okay. like jluv said, if he felt he needed to speed to get to her quicker then deal with the ticket and quit crying

i could care less what he was driving. he was speeding, got caught and now thinks he shouldn't have to deal with the consequences

i once thought it was important to speed up and go around a minivan who i thought was going to slow. the motorcycle cop on the other side of the hill caught me for doing 40 in a 30. did i come on here and piss & moan about getting it and try to get it dismissed? no. i broke the speed limit and got caught, paid the fine and moved on

since when did taking responsibility for your actions become the thing NOT to do?
