  • Solid dependable good milage SUV

Well looks like the Tahoe is getting Totaled out! Came out to $6700 to fix it & the truck was valued at $9600 but with the value dropped on the Tahoe fixed with it being stolen we fought to just total it out.

So now we are in the market for a SUV! I want another Tahoe WITH STOCK 16s, just cause I love the 5.3 motor & Trans in these Tahoes. Plus they are pretty quick with a TUNE & UD Pulley & Electric Fan & get good milage

But she isnt sure she wants another Tahoe. We have right at 8k to spend Max 10k cash. I know to some of you highrollers this is pocket change. But we are trying to avoid car payments & want to pay cash.

Need some SUV ideas. Something with gas milage & dependable in mind for this price range.
    GOD BLESS TEXAS

    Seb's high class.
    He'll mow your grass.
    He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
    He'll piss in a glass!

My mom was looking to get out of her Tahoe. It's a 2003 with the 5.3 and tow package. Garage kept, well maintained and cared for, has 130,xxx miles on it. Cold A/C front and rear.

I'll ask her if she's still looking to sell. I think she was looking to get around $8k for it.

Pretty much the same as a Tahoe.
I did see a 2003 Tahoe in Forney for $7900. Looked ok.

Dude Seb you can pretty much pickup any Tahoe 01-04 for $8-10k

I bought an 01 Pewter, split back door, light color leather(forget the name for it), 5.3, with 105k miles for $7900 and then added the brackets and matching leather seats for another $750. Had brand new tires, granted we have had to replace the fuel pump; but all in all a great buy in my opinion. Car payments are for the birds!

Why not dependable? I have had one for 3.5 years and no problems.
I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. The worst part was the fish explaining to his fish friends why his asshole smelled like redneck

3rd or 4th gen Toyota 4 runner. Solidly built decent mileage out of both the V6 and the V8's.
