    Thought I would post up just in case anyone needed to know where they are shooting shit off.

    rework events are listed by date and in alphabetical order by community.

    :: Saturday, July 2, 2011 ~ DFW Fireworks Events

    Frisco
    What: Frisco Freedom Fest
    Food, live music, children’s activities (bounce house, rock climbing wall), street entertainment, and more.
    Where: Simpson Plaza at City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.
    When: July 2, Begins at 4:00PM, Fireworks at 10:00PM
    Cost: FREE.

    Granbury
    What: Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July (All Weekend)
    Parade, live big band music and dance, fireworks and more.
    Voted one of the top 5 best fireworks shows in Texas.
    Where: Events take place around town with fireworks over the lake.
    Go here for specific event locations.
    When: Weekend events July 2-4. Fireworks on July 4 at Dusk (about 9:30PM). Go here for a complete schedule of events.
    Cost: Most events are FREE. Check links above for specifics.

    Park Glen Community – Fort Worth
    What: Park Glen Community Fireworks Extravaganza
    Where: Arcadia Trail Park (bordered by Ash River Rd. & Island Park Dr.)
    When: July 2, Fireworks at 9:15PM
    Cost: FREE.

    :: Sunday, July 3, 2011 ~ DFW Fireworks Events

    Addison
    What: Kaboom Town in Addison
    Ranked #3 as Best Fireworks Show in the US . Warbird flyover, food, and live music. Fireworks event will be simulcast on 100.3 FM & KRLD 1080AM radio.
    Where: Watching party at Addison Circle Park
    When: July 3, 5:00PM to Midnight ~ Fireworks start at dusk (about 9:30PM)
    Cost: FREE.

    Arlington
    What: Light Up Arlington Fireworks Show
    Music, food, bounce houses, face painting and games set up along several city blocks in Arlington. Features a 21-minute music-enhanced fireworks show from atop City Hall.
    Where: Downtown/University District of Arlington
    When: July 3, 6oPM – 10:00PM (Fireworks at 9:45)
    Cost: FREE.

    Granbury
    What: Granbury Old-Fashioned 4th of July (All Weekend)

    Where: Roanoke Community Park ~ 201 Park Dr.
    When: July 3, Family Activities begin at 6:00. Fireworks will start at dusk.
    Cost: FREE!

    Southlake
    What: Stars & Stripes Southlake Fireworks Show
    Kids activities, live music & entertainment, and more family fun.
    Where: Southlake Town Square
    When: July 3, Family Activities begin at 6:00. Patriotic ceremony and fireworks will start at 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE!

    :: Monday, July 4, 2011 ~ DFW Fireworks Events

    Arlington
    What: 46th Annual Arlington Independence Day Parade
    Where: Downtown Arlington – see parade route here.
    When: July 4, Begins at 9:00AM
    Cost: FREE.

    What: Arlington Highlands Shopping Center Celebration
    Live music, face painting, free snow cones and fireworks.
    Where: Click here for directions.
    When: July 4, 7:00PM, Fireworks at 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE!

    Bedford
    What: City of Bedford’s Bigtop 4th Fest
    Live Music, inflataFUN Zone, a variety of Circus family fun FREE activities, festival-style food & more independence day celebrations with a with a circus themed twist.
    Where: 2801 Forest Ridge Road ~ Bedford Boys Ranch Park. Go here for parking details.
    When: July 4, 12:00PM to 11:00PM, fireworks at dusk (about 9:30PM)
    Cost: FREE! Swimming at Bedford’s Splash Aquatic Center is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for kids under 18. Optional parking and shuttle service, $4 (Free for children 3 and under).

    Flower Mound
    What: Independence Day Festival & Fireworks Show
    Live music, kid’s activity zone, vintage car show, arts & crafts, food and more. Featuring classic rock icons, Grand Funk Railroad! This year’s festival will be special as the town is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary and is combining this event with the Wild About Flower Mound festival.
    Where: Flower Mound’s Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane
    When: July 4, 5:00-10:30PM and Fireworks begin at 9:25PM
    Cost: FREE!

    Fort Worth
    What: City of Fort Worth’s Fourth Of July Fireworks
    An evening of free music, family activities, bounce houses, miniature golf, jet ski shows, and fireworks. You can even cool off in the Trinity River with the Float the Fourth river-tubing event (inner tubes, kayaks and swim up barges are available free of charge). Free fresh watermelon will also be available to all!
    Where: On the Trinity River, behind LaGrave Field at Trinity Uptown.
    When: July 4, Starts at 4:30PM. Fireworks begin after the FW Cats game ends.
    Cost: FREE! Parking is available at LaGrave Field for $5 or free along the side streets of North Main.

    Granbury

    Where: Grapevine Lake (our favorite viewing spot is from the Gaylord
    Texan Hotel. A map of viewing sites around Grapevine Lake can be
    be found here.
    When: July 4, Fireworks start at 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE (though some parks may charge a small admission fee).

    Irving/Las Colinas
    What: Irving’s Firecracker Fourth
    Fireworks over Lake Caroline and patriotic music from the Irving Symphony Orchestra and the Kenny Chavez Combo
    Where: Las Colinas ~ Intersection of Las Colinas Boulevard and Lake Carolyn Parkway
    When: July 4, Entertainment begins at 6:30PM, fireworks at 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE! Parking is $5 at the Irving Convention Center parking garage ~ 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.

    Lewisville
    What: Red White & Lewisville Fireworks Show
    Where: The best viewing opportunities will be on the South side of Vista Ridge Mall and along the 121 Bypass.
    When: July 4, 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE!

    North Richland Hills
    What: North Richland Hills Family Fireworks Show
    Patriotic music will be simulcast live during the fireworks show on KDKR Radio 91.3 FM
    Where: The Hills Shopping Center (6351 Highway 26)
    or WG Thomas Coliseum (6108 Broadway in Haltom City).
    When: July 4, Fireworks Begin at 9:30PM
    Cost: FREE.

        There are plenty of other places like Garland, Sunnyvale, Rowlett, Lancaster and probably a lot more.
