                    They are dry filters.

                    People have a tendency to over-oil a k+n and then they have MAF problems. It's not a big deal if you can follow instructions.

                        go back stock, there was a big test done recently (trying to find thread now at another forum) of stock vs. aftermarket and the stockers did as good or better vs. the aftermarket ones.

                          In my Land Cruiser the OEM filter works a lot better than the K&N. My Mustangs always had K&N without issue though.

                            I put one on my duramax at 10,000 miles and it lost almost 2mpg I put the factory on back on after about 2 tanks and it went right back to where it was.

                              that's because yall did it wrong. The K&N works best when combined with a Tornado, some Slick50 and some Splitfire plugs.
